Children are a blessing! Yet, disrupted sleep and constant bedtime battles can cause us to lose this mindset. My passion is to help tired and discouraged parents regain joy in raising their children, and this inspired me to start Bluebonnet Sleep Consulting.

MY STORY
Hi there! I’m Aubrie—a mom of two, a proud military spouse, and a Texan at heart, no matter where life leads us. Moving so often in the military has taught me to embrace new rhythms with grace. Amid those whirlwind years, I longed for our home to be a sanctuary—for my young family, our tight-knit friends, and the loved ones who visited us. I discovered that a peaceful home hinges on simple, steady routines. For us, with little ones in tow, this meant prioritizing good sleep and daily flows that let us nurture our kids, savor our season, and stay spontaneous enough to enjoy adventures together or welcome others in.

Insufficient sleep can wear down the whole family—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Having a masters in clinical mental health counseling, I’ve seen firsthand how common depression and anxiety are among moms, alongside the growing behavioral challenges in young children. What often goes unnoticed? Disrupted sleep can fuel both of these escalating issues. That realization ignited my drive to support moms and kids by offering a practical, transformative solution: better sleep that uplifts the entire household.

These topics—sleep and daily rhythms—pop up effortlessly in my conversations with other moms, whether at the park, in waiting rooms, or over grocery carts (because what mom doesn’t swap kid stories?). Pursuing a pediatric sleep consultant certification to complement my counseling degree felt like a natural step to professionally channel what I’ve been doing instinctively for years. I love connecting with people one on one and find fulfillment in the process of encouraging others and bringing practical support to people. My mission is to help families rebuild healthy sleep habits and soothing routines, fostering a home filled with peace and joy!
MY APPROACH
As a sleep consultant, I focus on helping families promote healthier rhythms and routines around sleep. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to sleep; every child and every situation is different. While you can find nap schedules and sleep training methods online and in books, you can’t find guidance tailored to your unique child. No two families are alike, so I come up with solutions that fit your life and your little one’s needs. I have expertise in a wide range of methods, and I use a client-led approach. This allows you as the parent to guide the process in determining what will be the best fit for your child and parenting style. With my background in counseling, I come from a balanced perspective in prioritizing connection with your child while also establishing healthy boundaries that benefit the whole family. My hope is to shift parenting from feeling exhausting and sleepless to enjoying and treasuring your kids!
